Our Disneyland/Cruise Trip--Feb. 2008

Here's a 'small' sampling of our trip. If you are feeling ambitious, keep going until the previous post--Thanksgiving of last year. :)

Toontown

The girls in Toontown. All the little doors were highly fascinating to them. Check out Miss C and B's sassy stances. Weeze was just happy to have her leash let loose for a moment.

All the cuties

Here's all the kiddies. They were happy to be let loose out of the strollers for a few minutes to play in Wonderland.

Weeza and Dad

Aislyn really liked the rides. Here's her and Dad on the Alice in Wonderland ride.

Asleep

We went on Pirates of the Caribbean and both girls conked out. We rode it again so we could sit and they could sleep. Notice Cetera's bare foot--we spent quite a few minutes looking for her shoe (both still asleep), and luckily found it back by the stroller.

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

How else to sum up Mary Poppins (Nanny) and Bert (sweep)?

Cetera in Wonderland

Cetera with Alice. She was the first character we saw, and Cetera was pleased as punch. Alice was pretty cute, with her little accent. Weeze, of course, was scared and wouldn't pose.

My milkshakes are better than yours...

Here's Garrett, living the life of a Vegas dancer! The nightshows were a tad bit lacking.......but thankfully G got up and shook what his momma gave him. You rock!

Bottoms up!

Poor little Aislyn....during this dinner she could hardly keep her eyes open long enough to get a drink. She would tip to one side, then the other, and finally fell asleep on Mom for the rest of the meal.
The rest of our group in their evening wear: Left side: Dano, Marshall, Tammy, Shelby. R: (In darkness) Garrett, Dave, Mom, (Cetera), and Dad.

Celeste, Baylee, Garrett, Dave, and Chris..........during the Hairy Chest contest on the boat. Purty excitin' stuff.

FunShip Freddy

Here we are with Funship Freddy--a super duper all around fun kinda guy! The girls were of course freaked out by him (couldn't be the large red horns on his head could it?), so naturally we had to get a shot with him. Cetera wouldn't even get close enough to pose. :)
Another fun time at Camp Carnival--crowns and Froot Loop necklaces.
All three of the little gals got their hair beaded by "the lady at Mexico", or so says Cetera.
Some yummy bods in swimsuits! On the beach at Cabo - Cetera is in the background.

Lands End

Here we are in Cabo--Spencer, Chris, Celeste, Baylee, Cetera, Aislyn and Dax. We all decided to go to the beach, since the kids were too little to go on most of the excursions. We found a water taxi and ended up (inadvertantly) going on a tour around Lands End, which was awesome. The weather was amazing!

Here's Weeza getting her butterfly on. She sat so still (very cooperative when exhausted) and looked so cute we were sad to wash it off. The counselors who were with them were so awesome and took such good care of them.
Hurray for Camp Carnival! The kids went to CC and did lots of entertaining things like coloring T-shirts, playing games, and getting their faces painted. Here's Cetera the ladybug with Grandma Sylvie.
In the dining room for dinner. They put all the 'kids' together, which was alright ....at first. We got lots of comments from other vacationers, such as, "Wow, you are brave to bring such little ones on a cruise!" We weren't sure if brave was the right word......maybe more like insane. :) Here we are with my brother Chris, Celeste, Baylee and Dax. It was nice to have some other 'brave' folk--our kids had such fun with their cousins.

Catching some rays

We just got home a few weeks ago from our cruise to Mexico, and visit to Disneyland. Here's the little ladies soaking up the sun on our first day on the boat. We strapped on their harnesses (a.k.a. dog leash), and they ran (literally) all over the boat. The weather was beautiful and it was a nice escape from the snow drifts at home.
