Our sweet Smithy friends March 2011

These cute gals came up to visit us, give me sympathy and baby clothes, and brought us lunch AND dinner.  We love our Hillary, Maddy, Ruby and Daisy friends!

Here's the in-betweener girlies, looking all sweet and innocent. Which of course, they are. :) Weezy and Ruby.

I had to capture this tender moment, watching these lovely gals slave away in the kitchen for me! Maddy is learning from the best. Hill, that pot pie was THE best thing I've ever eaten. It's so good to know that someone else can have three girls too, and still look cute (and cook) and STILL be a nice, wonderful person and friend. :)
We heart you ladies! (And Miss Daisy too, even though I somehow didn't get a picture of her darling-ness.)

Dance competition in Layton/ Bountiful Temple March 2011

Since we are taking Cetera all over Utah to her dance competitions, we have been able to combine each trip with temple visiting as well! It's worked out swell. This was C's 2nd comp. in Layton. Her little group did marvelously, and she just continues to shine up there on stage. I don't know if it's just me being pregnant, or what, but every darn time she gets up there I get all teary eyed. I may have mentioned that, but who knows, I can't remember anything anymore!

Their dance Sugar Cane with her amazing little solo:

This trip we visited the Bountiful Temple. Spence and I were especially excited because *sniff* this is our special place. It was a very COLD windy day, so the moment was a teensy bit lost on the gals (and for the other poor brides out there trying to get their pictures taken), but we got a few good pictures.

Weeze was especially not cooperative about getting her picture taken in front of the temple. Let's hope this scene is not re-enacted in her later years...
 My lovely little family!

Our Temple FHE's --Mt Timpanogos Temple March 2011

A good friend shared a super idea one of her friends did with her family--made a year their "Year of the Temple". They focused primarily on temples for the year in their FHE's. We decided to do the same this year. Since we live so blessedly close to so many, we felt we could and should expose the girls to what an amazing gift this is. We have been visiting the temples close to us lately, and our family is eachmaking 'temple notebooks', into which we can put these fun pictures of ourselves in front of each temple. Mt. Timpanogos was the first one we visited this year. Of course we forgot our camera, so Spence had to use his phone....

Had to chronicle the large pregnant belly, so this one will know she was there too.

Prepping the baby's room! Feb. 2011

So tomorrow is the big day! I am going in to have this baby--hurray! Of course, I'm to the point where I can no longer sleep for longer than an hour at a time, so laying there and thinking of all I need to do just drives me bonkers, one of which was getting this all caught up!
So here we have my lovely girls, helping paint the baby's room. Spencer put up this nifty molding, and it looks lovely now that it's all done and painted. Do I have finished room pictures? Probably not, since we didn't finish it this day, and to go take more pics right now is beyond me. Perhaps when I have the little person who's actually going to be sleeping in there...

Cetera's unusually large ponytail is curlers--this was right before her first dance competition.
I have no explanation for Spencer's hair.
